We currently place rats in pairs or groups of three or more.

As social animals, rats thrive in groups. Through our experience, we have found that trios often provide the best dynamics for fancy rats. Therefore, we rehome rats exclusively in same-sex pairs or trios.

While the idea of breeding may seem appealing, it is important to understand that caring for 20+ baby rats and managing the responsibilities of breeding is far more challenging than it might appear.

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis for deposits.

Please note, you must be over the age of 18 to adopt from us. If you are under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian contact us on your behalf.

Full payment is required upfront.

In the event that we must cancel your reservation, your deposit will be refunded once the pups have been placed in new homes.

If you choose to cancel your reservation, the deposit will be forfeited. This policy applies to, but is not limited to, the following reasons:

• Finding rats closer to your location

• Changing your mind about wanting the rats

• Finding a less expensive rattery

• Deciding not to wait for pickup updates

• Preferring a different sex (though we are happy to transfer your reservation)

• Not wanting to pay for transportation services

We strongly encourage you to ensure that all your arrangements are in order before placing a deposit.
